Answers to the most frequently asked questions about The Nookery Book Club.

Once you have paid for your membership you will receive a welcome email from us within 24 hours.
Please check your junk/spam folder just in case the emails from us end up there by mistake.
You will get details and access to your monthly local (or online) book club, along with your local Whatsapp group community, all of the extra online events, and invites to any of the ad-hoc socials we host.
The membership is a monthly subscription set up from your joining day and auto-renews on the same day you joined.
Each book club will have a set regular day of the month that they meet.
For instance, it may be that your club is scheduled to meet on the last Thursday of every month.
This will be detailed on the specific book club joining page as well as in your welcome email.

This is a monthly membership which will auto-renew on the same day every month.
We recommend all new members sign up for three months minimum.
This gives you a chance to settle in and get to know your book club.
You may cancel your membership at any time. Please email us to cancel your membership.

We email the members with the upcoming books between a month to three months in advance. So there is plenty of time to pick up your book of the month.

Sometimes life stuff gets in the way and we don’t get to finish our book in time for book club. We’ve all been there. Every member is still welcome regardless (as long as you’re ok with spoilers!). We love going along for the good chat anyway.
At the Nookery Book Club we careful curate your book club reads to ensure a diversity of genres, sub-genres, and themes are covered.
The idea is that over a 12 month period you should get to read a different genre and themes every month.
This means there is something for everyone, we get to read something outside of our usual genres, and if we don’t like it the book, at least we will generate some lively discussions.
We do lots of research at Nookery HQ (you should see our enormous spreadsheets!) and welcome any ideas.
Once you join as a member we have a suggestions box within the membership area on the website wher you can share your book suggestions.
